Acceptance criteria

Buildings and Contents cover is available for properties which are:

• situated in the UK
• of standard construction, with walls of brick, stone, concrete or brick/timber frame after 1960, and roofs of slate, tile, concrete, asphalt or metal
• not a block of flats
• owned by private individuals rather than Limited Companies
• let on an assured shorthold tenancy or a company let
• let on a single tenancy agreement between the landlord and the tenant who will occupy the property
• not let to the DWP or used for multiple lets
• not let for holiday purposes

Please note: A separate acceptance criteria and maximum monthly rent limit applies to Legal Expenses and Rent Guarantee. Satisfactory credit referencing
is a condition of this cover.
